Terms of use
The plain understanding between us when you use this site and work with Fettle.

About this site
This site describes what Fettle does and lets you check whether we have room on our list. Prices shown – such as “from £140” for a half-day – are a guide. A first visit to see the job and give you a price is £30, and your actual quote for the work comes after that visit, once we’ve seen it.
Booking work
Checking availability or getting in touch isn’t a booking. A job is agreed only once we’ve visited, given you a price, and you’ve said yes. We take on a limited number of homes, so a slot near you isn’t guaranteed.
Our work
- We do the work with reasonable care and skill, and leave a tidy finish.
- Specialist work – rendering, tree surgery – is carried out by vetted specialists we bring in.
- If something isn’t right, tell us and we’ll put it right.
Payment
The £30 visit fee is deducted from your invoice whenever you go ahead with the work. If it turns out not to be a job for us, we refund it. We invoice for the half-day or full-day agreed, plus any materials. Terms are set out on your quote.
